Personal Day

Casey took his one personal day from a year, he gets pto and the random personal day, we don't get it either. The reason he took his day was the fact that after an hour and half of searching for the car keys, we thought Ian had maybe got a hold of them and hid them (we only have one set of car key's). Then after Ian woke up we spent and hour trying to convince him to show daddy where he put his keys, after looking at us like we were crazy. I asked Casey if he had looked outside to see if maybe he had dropped them when he went to the store last night, lo and behold there they were in the grass. We were extremely lucky that someone didn't find them and press the clicker. Once we found the keys, we had ten minutes till Mcdonald's stops serving breakfast and I am not gonna lie, Casey rushed out the door to get us some. He made it in time, so we had delicious not good for us food. Then after a while of telling my husband that we shouldn't waste the beautiful day (nagging). So finally we loaded up and headed to the local nature preserve. Once we got there I wish I would have worn better shoes. It was a amazing to see this oasis of nature in the middle of all this. This was the first time that we had went to this particular park. We just decided to wonder and see where it took us, I am sad to say that I didn't think to pictures of the beauty surrounding us, I was enjoying the time with my family.  I can't say how grateful I am to have a healthy happy family, an employed husband that enables me to stay home to raise our son, who is able to take a weekday to spend with his family.
